Minnewaska State Park Hike

Castle Point & Rainbow Falls in Minnewaska State Park is a great hike if you’re looking for something that offers stunning views and beautiful rock formations. It would be impossible to see all of Minnewaska’s beautiful spots in one day. Castle Point has amazing views of the Catskills. Round trip, the hike is approximately 7.5 miles with a good mix of trails & carriage roads.
There will be an optional lunch afterwards at Maggie Mae’s, 215 Huguenot Street, New Paltz. Owners are from Donegal & Galway.
NOTE: There’s a $10 charge per car to enter Minnewaska State Park & they accept the Empire Pass.
