1st Annual Phil Traynor Memorial 5K

Team Aisling are thrilled to team up with the Traynor Family to present the 1st Annual Phil Traynor Memorial 5k on Sunday May 21st in VanCortlandt Park at 9am. All proceeds will benefit the Homeless Program at the Aisling Center for which Phil was a huge advocate.

Phil Traynor was a loving Dad, a wonderful friend to many, a community volunteer and a supporter of numerous organizations & charities. Phil was excited for the development of the Aisling Irish Community & Cultural Center and was an advocate for The Irish Volunteers for the Homeless Group. He had just donated the new floors for the new renovation of the Aisling Center’s building before his untimely death. His children Ryan, Courtney, Grainne & Ciara join with Team Aisling to invite you to walk or run in memory of Phil. It will be a fun morning with great memories and stories about Phil while doing what we know would make him proud, raising a few dollars for the Homeless Program at the Aisling Center. So come along and meet the Traynor Family who are continuing their Dad’s mission in life “doing good in the community”. This event welcomes everyone and be sure to have a cup of tea with us when you cross the finish line.
